Microsoft India aim is to build India's prosperity, both socially and economically, through their Citizenship programmes. One of the areas in which Microsoft works, to make a difference socially within Citizenship, is through Community Affairs.
As part of its commitment to the non-profit sector, Microsoft is expanding its software donation programme to better serve charitable organisations. Microsoft appointed TechSoup to implement broad scale donations across the world. TechSoup currently delivers technology donation programmes for over 25 corporate donors in the Americas and, through partner NGOs such as NASSCOM Foundation, throughout the world. Microsoft products are the first to be offered through NASSCOM Foundation's BiG Tech program in India.
